"Sewing Our Stories"

Exploring the intersection of beadwork and literacy.  Participants work to create their own beaded keychain, while learning about regional (Northwest Territories) beadwork and what it can communicate.  Workshop also looks at beading in other cultures around the world, more specifically the Zulu people (South Africa) and the Huichol (Mexico).
